Step Into Motion 2010

Nico Archambault, winner of CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season One, is set to headline the third edition of the Step Into Motion Dance Festival in Cornwall. Archambault, along with Montreal’s Latin Dance Company, Conmigo, and Toronto’s Kaeja Contemporary Dance Company, will join students from across Eastern Ontario to “Celebrate Diversity”. The festival will kick off on May 20th with a student matinee performance in the General Vanier Intermediate School Auditorium. A showcase of student and studio performances will follow from 7-10 pm, also at General Vanier. May 2lst will see the performance portion of the festival wrap-up with a spectacular Gala evening performance at Aultsville Theatre beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Gala, headlined by Archambault, will also bring to the stage fellow CTV So You Think You can Dance Canada Season One finalist, Danny Arbour, as well as dance companies from across the province. The entire festival will draw to a close on Saturday, May 22nd at General Vanier Intermediate School with a host of workshops provided by Nico Archambault and other professional dancers.
